COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 3 Ohio State men’s tennis team is 10th in national attendance the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Tuesday. In the ITA’s first release of the national attendance race, the Buckeyes have totaled 1,131 fans in seven home dual matches.

Played on neural territory, the Buckeyes’ match vs. Virginia in the semifinals of the ITA National Team Indoor Championship Feb. 14 drew 1,300 fans, second in the single-match standings. Only the Cavaliers’ match against Georgia the day before totaled more with 1,500 spectators.

The Buckeyes welcome all fans to attend their Big Ten home opener at 6 p.m. Friday against Purdue at The Ohio State University Varsity Indoor Tennis Center. Ohio State will be seeking its 100th straight home win.
