Buckeyes Garner Nation-Best 12 All-America Honors

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Seven members of the Ohio State University pistol team combined to corral a dozen All-America honors for the 2019-20 season. The Buckeyes and United States Coast Guard (nine honorees) gobbled up 21 of the 29 All-America laurels.

An Ohio State trio of Katelyn Abeln, Samuels Gens and Shrenik Jain each garnered First Team recognition in both Air and Standard Pistol. Ablen added First Team honors for Women’s Sport Pistol as well. Con Marrinan joined the aforementioned Buckeyes among the First Team ranks, earning that distinction for Air Pistol.

All-America Second Team performers include Robbie Delegrange and Cade Haiby for Standard Pistol, and Bernard Melus for Air Pistol. Melus also received All-America honorable mention in Standard Pistol.
