COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 15 Oho State women’s gymnastics team finished fourth at the 2023 Big Ten Championship meet at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa on Saturday night. The Buckeyes (22-8) earned a final score of 196.975 for the highest conference championship meet score in program history.
Ohio State competed in the evening session of the meet, finishing ahead of Iowa (196.800) and behind first-place Michigan (198.00) and runner-up Michigan State (197.550). The team’s fourth-place finish is the highest since the 2012 season.
Ohio State senior Raina Malas was named the team’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner at the meet.
