COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State pistol team won six of seven events at the Winter Open hosted by Ohio State at the Lt. Hugh W. Wyle Range in Converse Hall. In the open events, the Buckeyes won two of three events with Joe Totts winning standard pistol with an all-time school record of 563. Aaron Tourigney won free pistol shooting a 513 while Thomas Jordan was first in air pistol with a 566 shooting as an independent. Totts won the three-gun aggregate with a 1,604. Tourigney was second at 1,585 and Bryan Basenback third at 1,567.

In the women’s events, Kimberly Hullings won all three events shooting a 557 in sport, a 355 in air and a 912 in the two-gun aggregate. Amanda Watters finished second at 868 and Christina Heaton was third at 845.

Next weekend, Ohio State will host the Collegiate Sectionals at the Lt. Hugh W. Wylie Range in Converse Hall.
