AKRON, Ohio — The Ohio State pistol team went on the road for a match against the University of Akron, and notched another win with an Open score of 6,559 while the Zips came it at 5,800.

Several members of the team left their mark in Akron, helping the Buckeyes take the win. Robert Delagrange placed first in standard pistol while Samuel Gens took first in air pistol and second in sport pistol. Katelyn Abeln had a great day as well earning first in both open and women’s sport pistol, first in women’s air pistol and third in open air pistol. Shrenik Jain came in at second place in both air pistol and standard pistol. Finally, Delagrange, Cade Haiby and Bernard Melus tied for third in open sport pistol.
The team as a whole dominated seizing first through fourth place in air pistol, first though fifth in standard pistol and first through seventh in sport pistol.
The team is back in action this weekend in an away match versus North Dakota State.
