Buckeyes Compete at 2018 Winter Air Gun Championships

Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st.

Colorado Springs, Colo.- This past weekend, a handful of members of the Buckeyes Pistol Team traveled to Colorado Springs to compete in the 2018 Winter Air Gun Championships. Members that competed include Robbie Delagrange, Sam Gens, Cade Haiby, Con Marrinan, Anthony McCollum, Bernard Melus, and Emily Nothnagle.

Each member competed individually, while no team score was contested.

Con Marrinan set a new personal record (Air Pistol; 559), while also making it to the Junior Men’s Final on day two, finishing 8th in Junior Men’s Air Pistol.

Sam Gens competed in and made both Junior and Men’s Finals day one and two finishing 8th overall in Men’s Air Pistol, and 4th in Junior Men’s Air Pistol.

Finally, Anthony McCollum made it to day two in the Men’s Final, placing in first with an outstanding score of 240.8 that earned him an overall finish of 6th place in Men’s Air Pistol.



The Buckeyes will be off the rest of the year but will return after the New Year at Citadel January 12th and 13th.
