The Buckeyes (-5) needed to defeat three Golfstat Top-25 foes to capture runner-up honors, topping No. 23 UNLV (-1), No. 21 Notre Dame (+1) and No. 16 San Diego State (+5).

Individually, Jaclyn Lee and Jessica Porvasnik each cracked the top-10 at 2-under (214) — both grabbing a share of ninth place overall in the 86-player field. It marks Porvasnik’s 11th career top-10 effort and the first of Lee’s freshman campaign.

On the final day, Lee matched fellow rookie Niki Schroeder’s opening round 69 for the team’s best round of the tournament. Katja Pogacar notched a 3-under 69 on the last go-around as well. Lee’s low ledger ascended her 14 slots on the individual leaderboard during the final 18 holes. Porvasnik, meanwhile, was a mainstay towards the top of the standings throughout the competition by registering rounds of 71-70-73. Lee, Pogacar and Porvasnik contributed to the team score in all three rounds.

Schroeder overcame a quadruple bogey on her second hole Monday, storming back with four birdies in a row at one point and ultimately saving her round with a final resting spot at 1-over (73). She tied for 23rd place overall (217, +1), her second top-25 effort of the season. Pogacar picked up the pace as the tournament unfolded, lowering her score in each subsequent round: 76-73-69. At 2-over, she seized a piece of 30th place.

Zoe-Beth Brake posted a 5-over 221, tied for the best among 11 players competing as individuals and 43rd overall. She rattled off rounds of 73-75-73. Rio Watanabe, who dropped in a hole-in-one on Day One, rounded out the Buckeye lineup at 10-over (79-71-76).
