🗣️ Buckeyes Chat with the Media Ahead of the Wisconsin Game

Share

Ohio State met with the media following Wednesday’s practice to discuss team progress ahead of Saturday’s competition against Wisconsin.

Miyan Williams, RB

On the increased use of the i-formation this season:
“It’s good for the running backs and the offense to prove that we can run the ball instead of just passing. We’ve got one of the best quarterbacks in the country. It’s good for the Buckeyes as a whole.”

On Dallan Hayden’s play last week:
“I was so proud of him. I feel like everyone else was, too. He runs hard in practice, so it wasn’t surprising to see it in the game.”

Tommy Eichenberg, LB

“All the DT’s have been great, they make our job easy…”

On his impact this season:
“I’m part of the defense, we all play as one. I’m just trying to do my job and help the team out as much as I can.”

On momentum with defense getting two turnovers last weekend:
“It was a big confidence boost I would say, we have to do our best to get the ball back to the offense.”

Steele Chambers, LB

On Facing Wisconsin’s RB’s:
“I think it’s a lot of everyone swarming to the ball, being one as a team, and everyone being sound on their assignments. It’s a bigger challenge for us and we’re excited for it.”

On what stands out about Wisconsin:
“They’re really big, fast and physical. They want to play smash mouth football and pass, and we got to be ready for whatever they throw at us.”

Cade Stover, TE

On his team’s development and mentality after the first three games of the season:
“Playing tough, fast, and physical: that’s not something you can do in one day. If you want to be tough and you want to be physical you have to do it every day… it doesn’t matter what situation gets thrown at you.”
