COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State clinched at least a share of the 2017-18 Big Ten Championship on Thursday evening.
Maryland fell at Michigan 71-65 giving the Buckeyes a one game lead with one game to play on Sunday. Ohio State can win the title outright with a victory at Penn State on Sunday. That game is set to tip at Noon ET and will be televised on ESPN2.
This is the Buckeyes 16th Big Ten Championship in program history, the most of any school in the conference. This is also the second-straight title for the Buckeyes who shared the crown with Maryland a year ago. The last time OSU won back-to-back conference titles came during a six-year championship run from 2005-10.
Ohio State is 23-6 overall this season and 12-3 in the conference.
