Is a 97.9% high school winning percentage good? If so, the Ohio State wrestling program has added another good Buckeye with Phillip Kue poised to don the Scarlet & Gray for his redshirt freshman season. He compiled a 186-4 overall mark which included a 96-0 run as an upperclassman for Centennial High School in Oregon.
After placing third at the Oregon high school championships in his freshman campaign, Kue rattled off three straight state titles to wrap up an impressive high school career. He earned 2019 Oregon Prep Wrestler of the Year recognition.
