COLUMBUS, Ohio – At Ohio State Summer Commencement Sunday, 24 current and former Buckeye student-athletes are slated to receive their degrees. The ceremony begins at 2 p.m. in the Schottenstein Center and will be streamed online at commencement.osu.edu.
Among the graduates are former football players Rickey Dudley (1994-95) and Pepe Pearson (1994-97) and Pieter Olree, a men’s volleyball alum (1999-02), who finished their requirements through the degree completion program.
Other standouts graduating this summer include First Team All-Big Ten softball player Evelyn Carrillo and rower Victoria Lazur, a first team All-American who was the coxswain in the first varsity eight that won the NCAA boat title and was part of the NCAA team championship. Synchronized swimmer Paige Ramsey earned 2013 U.S. Collegiate Athlete of the Year accolades and was part of three team U.S. Collegiate championships.
