The Department of Athletics is entirely self-supporting and provides over 1,000 student-athletes participating in 36 sports an unparalleled experience to help achieve their academic and athletic goals.
It takes significant resources to support an athletic program the size of Ohio State’s – the largest and most comprehensive program in the nation.
Your generous support in helping to provide those resources is vital to the success of the current student-athletes and lays the foundation for future Buckeyes.
The modernized Buckeye Club giving structure includes the Pay Forward Society, two lifetime Athletics giving levels and eight annual giving levels.
This structure will be used for priority to determine access to seating, parking, away and postseason tickets.
The Buckeye Club offers exclusive benefits and event invitations to members based on their giving level. Benefits and event invitations are communicated to eligible members in a timely fashion throughout year.
The Pay Forward Society recognizes benefactors who have provided single gifts of $5 million or more to Ohio State Athletics projects. Total lifetime giving to Athletics of $5 million or more does not qualify for this level of priority without a minimum single gift of $5 million included in the overall total.
The lifetime giving levels include only giving to Athletics (excluding planned giving and ticket/parking money).
The annual giving levels include all giving to Buckeye Club, per-seat contributions, Athletics pledge payments ($100k overall pledges or more) and football premium seat payments (excluding planned giving and ticket/parking money).
Priority is first determined by Athletics giving level and then priority points within each level. Donors within each giving level are ranked based on their priority points.
For example, donors at the Pay Forward Society will receive first priority followed by Director’s Level, Excellence Level, Hall of Fame Level and on down.
Priority will be used when selecting season tickets, season parking, away and post season ticket allocation.
To make a charitable contribution to support Ohio State Athletics and increase your priority, simply login to your ticket account and click the Quick Donate button at the top of the screen.
All gifts to the Champions Fund will apply towards your Membership Level and Priority Points.

Future Seasons
Without a doubt, the strength of the Buckeye Club comes from our generous members. For over 35 years, the supporters of the Buckeye Club have joined us in our common goal of supporting the Ohio State Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund. With your help, we hope to continue in this mission by adding to the loyal Buckeye Club family.
In an effort to increase our support of the 1,000+ Ohio State student-athletes, our goal is to expand the Buckeye Club by 1,000 new members. To reach this goal, we will need your help, as representatives of Buckeye Nation, to champion our mission and encourage new Ohio State supporters to join the Buckeye Club.
Each year, the athletic department transfers millions of dollars to the university to fund student-athlete scholarships. We are blessed that the generosity of thousands of Buckeye Club members helps to aid this support. While this shows the tremendous support of Buckeye Nation, it is our hope that, with your help, we can continue to build the Buckeye Club’s membership base and move closer to fully funding our student-athlete scholarships.
Every member, and every dollar makes a direct impact on our student-athletes. With your help, we can ensure that our Buckeyes continue the Ohio State tradition of excellence. Be a champion for our Buckeyes.
