Buckeye Alumni Named CSCAA 100 Greatest Swimmers & Divers Finalists

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The College Swimming & Diving Association of America (CSCAA) announced the finalists for its centennial list of 100 Greatest Swimmers and Divers on Monday, naming 20 Ohio State swimming and diving alumni among the all-time greats of the sport.

Dating back more than 100 years, the list of finalists includes 973 candidates who were selected from 2,805 nominees. The group will go on to a Blue Ribbon Panel of voters who are charged with narrowing the selections to 100 men and 100 women.

The Buckeyes lead the way with 13 men’s diving finalists of a total of 234 overall diving finalists. Ohio State is one of 221 schools represented on the list.
