COLUMBUS, Ohio – MK Bonanni, who recently completed her collegiate career with the Ohio State women’s lacrosse team, has signed with Athletes Unlimited. This is the inaugural season for the league, with the schedule starting July 23.

Bonanni was a graduate student at Ohio State in 2021 after earning her bachelor’s degree in animal science at Cornell, playing four years with the Big Red. She led the Buckeye defenders throughout the 2021 season, earning Second Team All-Midwest Region and Second Team All-Big Ten accolades. In 2019 with Cornell Bonanni was a Second Team All-Northeast Region pick and a First Team All-Ivy honoree.
The Syracuse, N.Y., native had a team-high 15 caused turnovers and was second with 22 ground balls for the Buckeyes in 2021. A starter in all 13 games, she had at least one caused turnover in 11 outings and had seven games with multiple ground balls.
Bonanni played in 69 collegiate games, starting 65, combined at Cornell and Ohio State, picking up 87 ground balls and causing 51 turnovers
