The Buckeyes have their second-consecutive road series, taking on Michigan State for two games in East Lansing. The teams will meet at 7:05 p.m. Thursday and Friday in Munn Ice Arena.

To keep up with the team, the radio broadcast will be on 1460 AM in Columbus or online for free at Both games will be streamed through Buckeye Vision – the Thursday game is provided free of charge, while the Friday game is part of the subscription package. Comcast in mid-Michigan will televise the game. Live stats links are on, with in-game updates also on Twitter/OhioState_MHKY.

Series Preview

Junior defenseman Devon Krogh – who scored his first goal of the season at Notre Dame last week – checks in from the team’s trip to EL.

Because of the Thursday/Friday games, it was an early departure and we took off on Wednesday rather than Thursday. We left the Schott at 12 and had some boxed lunches like usual. The movie choices were definitely better than last week – we watched Horrible Bosses and Anchorman.

We arrived in Lansing around 3:30 in the afternoon, quickly checked in and had a snack before practice. It was a typical day-before-game practice – short but intense. Every practice before a game we do a showdown, which is like a shootout competition. Sean Duddy and I always have a little competition going between us, and I would like to make it public that I took home the cake today; sorry Duds.

After practice we bussed back to the hotel for dinner. It was a typical meal on the road, comprised of pasta and chicken. However, the boys got a nice treat today with a fully loaded ice cream bar for dessert.

Buckeye fans, I have to go and watch one of my favorite shows on TV, Modern Family, with Lippy (Alex Lippincott). I’ll check in after the series.

Go Bucks!
