COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sean Nemec moved up to become the No. 5 seed at 157 pounds in the official release of the 2010 Big Ten Wrestling Championships seedings and brackets by the conference office Friday.

The sophomore from Garfield Heights, Ohio, was pre-seeded seventh. That was the only change for the Buckeyes as all pre-seeded wrestlers remained the same.

Senior Reece Humphrey is the No. 1 seed at 141 pounds and classmate Lance Palmer is No. 2 in the 149-pound division. The No. 3 seed at 165 pounds is junior Colt Sponseller. Both Dave Rella (174) and Mike Pucillo (184) are the No. 4 seeds in their respective weight classes.

125 pounds: No. 6 Nikko Triggas
133 pounds: No. 7 Ian Paddock
197 pounds: No. 8 C.J. Magrum
285 pounds: No. 6 Corey Morrison

Action at the Big Ten championships gets underway at 11 a.m. ET Saturday with first round and quarterfinal competition. Session II will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday with the semifinals and wrestlebacks.
