Members of the football team brought the house down performing with Brutus and the Ohio State dance team during halftime at the men’s basketball game vs Wisconsin. 

Streak Stopper

Men’s tennis saw its unprecedented 200-match home-win streak come to an end at the hands of top-ranked Oklahoma.

Matta on Top

Men’s basketball coach Thad Matta stood alone as the winningest coach in Ohio State men’s basketball history after the Buckeyes defeated Minnesota, 79-73, in the second round of the 2015 Big Ten tournament. Now 307 wins and counting.

Golden Bear Honored

Men’s golf alum Jack Nicklaus received the Congressional Gold Medal and joined Buckeye Jesse Owens as two of seven athletes to earn the highest civilian honor presented by Congress.



Fabulous Freshman of the Year

Women’s basketball guard Kelsey Mitchell was named 2015 USBWA National Freshman of the Year. She is the first freshman in NCAA WBB history to lead the nation in scoring (24.9 PPG)!    


The Heisman of Wrestling

Four-time NCAA champion Logan Stieber became the first Buckeye to win the prestigious Hodge Trophy!



The Best Fans in the Land PACKED a sun-splashed Ohio Stadium setting a national spring game attendance record!


AAU Sullivan Award Goes to Zeke 

Ezekiel Elliott was named the most outstanding amateur athlete in the United States, winning the 85th AAU James E. Sullivan Award.

Presidential Buckeyes

The White House welcomed the 2014 National Champion Ohio State football team to Washington, D.C.


Buckeyes Traveled Abroad

Nine student-athletes traveled to Costa Rica (May 13-19) as part of a volunteer trip with the Soles 4 Souls organization.

A total of 14 Buckeyes, 12 student-athletes and two coaches, were inducted into the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame this fall.
