COLUMBUS, Ohio – On her first day of the 2021 U.S. Open Championships, Hannah Bach won the 100m Breast title in a time of 1:09.01 on Friday evening in Greensboro, N.C. The feat marks her first national win for her career.
Bach led for the entire race, clocking a 36.80 at the 50m mark. She finished 1.27 seconds ahead of the next-best finisher.
The junior from Brecksville, Ohio is a four-time All-American and owns the Buckeyes’ fastest time this season in the 100 Breast SCY (58.08).
