After defeating 13-seed Minnesota4-seed Purdue, and top-seeded ❌ichigan, fifth-seeded Ohio State earned their way into the title game for the first time since 2013.

In the championship game, the Buckeyes fought back from 17 points down against 2-seed Illinois, but eventually fell in overtime, 91-88.

Holtmann Named Naismith COY Finalist

Holtmann, one of 10 finalists nationally, is in his fourth season at Ohio State and has taken the Buckeyes to the NCAA Tournament twice before a chance for a third trip to the postseason was canceled last March.
