Adeena Shears Earns Degree at Spring Commencement

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Adeena Shears, a member of the Ohio State women’s golf team, earned her degree in a virtual commencement ceremony May 3. The Parkersburg, W.Va., native received her degree in human development and family science.

A four-year letterwinner, Shears competed in 32 events as a Buckeye, helping Ohio State to a Big Ten championship in 2019 and NCAA Championships appearances in 2017 and 2018. Shears, who played 90 career rounds for the Buckeyes, is a two-time WGCA All-American Scholar and a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. Shears also is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and a three-time OSU Scholar-Athlete.
