COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s lacrosse team followed up its record-breaking season on the field last spring with an equally impressive effort in the classroom this past fall. The Buckeyes had their best semester ever, finishing with a 3.32 semester grade-point average and 3.36 cumulative grade-point average. The freshmen class stood tall, as 11 of the 12 newcomers had a 3.0 or better GPA and nine were over a 3.5. A program-record 36 of 46 student-athletes attained OSU Scholar-Athlete status. A big round of applause for Ohio State’s efforts in the classroom last fall.
In the above video, assistant coach Travis Crane and senior academic advisor Sarah Pergine talk about the culture in place that has allowed Ohio State’s student-athletes to find success both on and off the playing field.
