COLUMBUS, Ohio – Katelyn Abeln, a freshman on the Ohio State pistol team, is headed for Ft. Benning, Ga., shooting in the 2019 Rifle-Pistol Fall Selection, Olympic Trials Part 1 event. She is entered into the 25-meter Women’s Sport Pistol field (Oct. 1-2).
Abeln is also expected to join junior Samuel Gens, freshman Logan Quinn, assistant coach Anthony Lutz and ’19 OSU graduate Anthony McCollum in competing at the 2019 Winter Airgun Championships (Olympic Trials Part 1) on Dec. 15-16 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
