The Ohio State women’s track and field team stole the show and made history Saturday and Sunday in West Lafayette to capture its first-ever Big Ten title! As Karen Dennis said after the meet: “It was an amazing day for our program!”
With a total of 122.50 points, the Buckeyes crushed their conference rivals on the second day of the competition, compiling 97.5 points Sunday to create a 36.50 point gap between themselves and three-time defending champion Penn State, the second-place finisher with 86 points. Third-place went to Minnesota (73).
