COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s track and field team split into three groups this weekend to compete in different meets. Sprinters and jumpers traveled to Clemson, SC, middle distance and distance runners competed in the Iowa State Classic while throwers and pole vaulters stayed close to home and competed in Kent, Ohio. The Buckeyes were able to earn six top ten finishes and two career bests.
The men’s 4×400-meter relay team rounded out the Clemson Tiger Paw Invite with a second place finish. The team of Donnie James, Tyler Johnson, Andre Jeff and RJ Russell registered a time of 3:07.35. Chance Ehrnesberger claimed a fourth place finish in the men’s shot put with a distance of 17.16-meters.
