33 Ohio State baseball players have been named Ohio State Scholar-Athletes for 2020-21.
Outfielder Scottie Seymour leads the team in claiming his fifth OSU Scholar-Athlete honor. The Maumee, Ohio native is working on his Masters of Accounting. Aaron Hughes, a mechanical engineering major, earns the honor for the fourth time. He is joined on the list by fellow mechanical engineering majors Mitch Milheim and Mitchell Okuley.
The group was part of 799 Ohio State student-athletes recognized with the honor Monday. To receive the OSU Scholar Athlete distinction, student-athletes must carry a 3.0 or better grade-point average.
The Buckeyes are 20-18 on the season and will play their final home weekend series this weekend against Northwestern.
