ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference will be featured prominently on the airwaves during the 2017 fall season, with 87 games across four sports scheduled to be televised on either the Big Ten Network or the ESPN family of networks.

The Big Ten volleyball television package features 36 contests, with 31 of those matches broadcast live on BTN (the last four being late-season wild card selections that will be announced at a later date), and highlighted by 10 doubleheader broadcasts. Five other matches will be shown live on the ESPN family of networks, including a Sept. 24 doubleheader on ESPN when Michigan State visits Minnesota (1 p.m. ET) and Michigan travels to Wisconsin (3 p.m. ET).

A total of 40 Big Ten soccer games will be televised this season (20 men and 20 women), with 36 on BTN and four on ESPNU. Part of BTN’s coverage will include the Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournaments, with the network carrying one quarterfinal from a campus site (Oct. 29 for the women, Nov. 5 for the men), as well as both tournaments’ semifinals and championship games. The Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournament semifinals and title games will take place at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana, with the women playing Nov. 3 and 5, and the men competing Nov. 10 and 12.

There will also be 11 Big Ten field hockey games slated for television in 2017, with all 11 contests broadcast on BTN. This package includes four Big Ten Tournament games — an Oct. 29 quarterfinal from a campus site, as well as the tournament semifinals (Nov. 3) and championship game (Nov. 5) from Michigan State’s Ralph Young Field in East Lansing, Michigan.

All 14 Big Ten schools will be featured during the BTN and ESPN fall sports schedule, while additional Big Ten games may be televised on BTN Plus (streaming through the BTN2Go platform) or ESPN3 (streaming through the WatchESPN platform). Information on those broadcasts will be made available on BTN2Go.com and espn.com/watch, respectively.
