COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference office announced today that Ohio State women’s volleyball outside hitter Stacey Gordon (Sr., Oshawa, Ont.) is one of three unanimous selections to the 2004 Preseason All-Big Ten Volleyball Team by a vote of the league coaches. It marks the third time Gordon has been named to the preseason team. A three-time first team All-Big Ten selection, Gordon is Ohio State’s all-time career leader in kills with 1,956 and is the Buckeye career leader in kills per game (5.79), digs per game (3.34) and points (2,176.5). She enters the 2004 season with double-figure kills in her last 76 matches.

The conference office also released the 2004 Big Ten Preseason Poll which has Ohio State ranked in a tie for sixth based upon a vote of the league coaches. Minnesota was ranked first with Penn State second.
