COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s lacrosse team has been picked ninth in the preseason Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association poll. The Buckeyes received 157 points in the voting by a panel of coaches. Ohio State finished the 2003 season ranked 11th in the poll and reached as high as ninth during the season. OSU was 14-4 last season, won the American Lacrosse Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals before losing to Princeton. The Buckeyes will face eight teams listed in the Preseason Top-20 including their opening game at No. 14 Stanford, Friday, Feb. 27.
