My least favorite thing about traveling is… waking up early, loading the bus, and how that one lady won’t serve me smoothies before 10:30 am, but she’ll serve [Colleen] Olson.

Fans may not know this about the team… there is an extra person on our team that does not play and only causes trouble. Her name is Bad Sally.

What did you think last season when you were named the Most Improved Player in the nation by USCHO? I was shocked, humbled, and couldn’t really believe it.

Your family has a history of playing college hockey with your dad and grandfather. Is that something you grew up wanting to do? Always.  I always idolized my dad and grandpa and how awesome they were at hockey.

What is your most memorable goal scored as a Buckeye?  In Mankato, when I had the flu and fell to the ice in front of the net and was too tired and weak to get up and [former Buckeye defenseman Amber] Bowman hit me with a slap shot from the point and it went off my butt into the net.

Anything else to add? “Who is Bad Sally?”
