COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State women’s ice hockey team (1-5-1 overall, 1-3-1 WCHA) lost to No. 6 Minnesota-Duluth (5-0-0 overall, 5-0-0 WCHA), 4-2, Saturday at Duluth, Minn. UMD is currently in first place in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. %^$

%^$The Bulldogs had a 2-0 lead before OSU forward Corinne Rosen (Jr., Milwaukee, Wisc.) slid the puck into the net off defenseman Kylee Reade’s (So., London, Ont.) shot that bounced off the UMD goaltender. Both Reade and Andrea Carlson (Fr., Hibbing, Minn.) were credited with assists for the goal.%^$

%^$Early in the third period, Jenny Schmidgall scored her second goal of the game to put the Bulldogs up, 3-1. Late in the third period, Rosen tallied her second score of the game when she found the back of the net off an assist from Shana Frost (Fr., Frankford, Ont.). The Bulldogs responded one minute later with their fourth goal of the game.%^$

%^$OSU goalie Melissa Glaser (Fr., Rockford, Ill.) posted 51 saves for the game.%^$
