UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Even after posting a 301 in the final round, the Buckeyes could not claim the Big Ten title and instead placed second to the Indiana Hoosiers (1,196) at the Big Ten Championships in University Park, Pa. Indiana would claim its seventh team title with help from Erin Carney, who posted a second round 71 to tie for individual medalist honors with Iowas Stacey Bergman (299).

Ohio State’s Natalie Mosher (Jr., New Philadelphia, Ohio) placed fourth with a final score of 301 (+13) and was named to the All-Big Ten team. Other top Buckeyes were Bethany Overstake (Sr., Urbana, Ohio), who tied for seventh with a total score of 302 (14) and Marisa Wilhelm (Sr., Brookville, Ind.), who posted a final round 72 that tied a championship record to take 10th place overall.

The Buckeyes will next compete on May 7-9 at the NCAA East Regional at Duke University.
