COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s golf team stands in third place with a score of 589 (+13) after two rounds of the 2004 Lady Northern Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Buckeyes posted an opening-round score of 290 and recorded a 299 in the second round. The event is being held at the par 72 University of Michigan Golf Course (5,966 yards), site of the 2005 Big Ten Championships in April.

Ohio State senior Kristen White (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) is tied for fifth place (146/+2) on the individual leaderboard with scores of 71 and 75. Classmate Lindsay Knowlton (Toronto, Ontario/Havergal) is tied for seventh place (147/+3) with rounds of 72 and 75. Junior Jennifer Selfinger (Columbus, Ohio/Groveport Madison) is tied for 12th place with a mark of 149 (+5).

Michigan and Missouri are tied for first place on the team leaderboard with scores of 585 (+9). Missouri’s Maria Ohsson leads the event with a mark of 177 (-1).

The final round is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
