COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s golf team struggled in the second day of competition at the NCAA Championships, firing a 314 at the par-71 Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, Okla. The score gave the Buckeyes an overall score of 625, which places them in 13th place.

Summerset Lovett (Sr., Honolulu, Hawaii) led the Buckeyes Thursday with a round of 75, which boosted her into a tie for 45th place. Amber Amstutz (Jr., Leo, Ind.) paces the Buckeyes with a 16th-place standing. Her score of 151 is nine strokes off the lead set by Arizona State’s Grace Park.

No. 1 Duke saw their 12-shot lead cut in half Thursday as Pepperdine moved within six strokes of the lead.

Play resumes Friday at 9 a.m.
