COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 16th-ranked Ohio State women’s golf team won the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational on Sunday, marking the second straight year the Buckeyes have won their home invitational. OSU has taken the title eight times in the tournament’s 20-year history.%^$

The Buckeyes shot a 306 on Sunday en route to a 907 (+43) score overall, 22 strokes ahead of second-place Purdue. OSU placed four golfers in the tournament’s top seven. Amber Amstutz (Jr., Leo, Ind.) paced the Buckeye attack with a second-place score of 221 (+5), one stroke behind Angela Blythe of Purdue. Natalie Mosher (Sr., New Philadelphia, Ohio) finished third with a 225. Lisa Strom (Jr., North Wales, Pa.) took sixth with a 229, while Summerset Lovett (Sr., Honolulu, Hawaii) notched seventh place with a 232.%^$

Ohio State returns to action Friday at the Big Ten Championships at Purdue.%^$
