COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 17th-ranked Ohio State womens crew team finished the Lexus Central Region Sprints in third place with 68 total points, just two behind second-place Michigan State. Michigan won the event, held in Oak Ridge, Tenn., with 106 points. The Buckeyes advanced all five of their boats to the Grand Finals for the second straight week, and took first place in the 2nd Novice 8 race, with a time of 7:23.00. Ohio State finished second in the Varsity 4 race at 7:50.00 and the 2nd Varsity 8 with a time of 6:59.30. They finished third in the 1st Varsity 8 final with a time of 6:46.90, and were fifth in the 1st Novice 8 event at 7:17.00.%^$
