YPSILANTI, Mich – %^$The No. 13 Ohio State women’s crew team was downed by No. 7 Michigan in today’s regatta held at Ford Lake.%^$

%^$The Buckeyes began the day with a close finish in the first varsity eight race, but in the last second the Wolverines pulled ahead for the win with a time of 6:51.20 over the Buckeyes’ 6:51.87. Ohio State earned their first win of the day in the second varsity four with a time of 8:10.0 as they opened up their lead in the last 500 meters to defeat the Wolverines by eight seconds. Ohio State finished the day with a victory in the second novice eight with a time of 7:38.93.%^$

%^$ The Buckeyes return home Easter weekend, hosting Indiana at noon on April 22. Ohio State travels to the Big Ten Championships in Madison, Wisc. April 29.%^$
