COLUMBUS, Ohio Ohio State women’s basketball coach Jim Foster announced that sophomore forward Lesslee Mason-Cox has decided to leave the women’s basketball program and transfer to another school.

A 6-1 forward from Princeton High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mason-Cox played in 38 games over the past two seasons, missing a majority of her freshman season for academic reasons. This past year she played in 30 games off the bench, averaging 1.8 points and 1.9 rebounds while shooting just under 50 percent from the field.

“We understand Lesslee’s choice to transfer and support her decision,” Foster said. “I wish Lesslee and her family the very best.”
