Columbus, Ohio – The 2011 U.S. National Synchronized Swimming Championships come to the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the campus of the Ohio State University, April 14-16. Nearly 100 elite athletes will vie for national titles in the solo, duet, team and combination events in the nation’s most prestigious competition. The 2011 U.S. National Championships mark the 66th year of national competition in the duet and team events and the 62nd year of solo competition. This is only the second year that the combination event has been included.

On Saturday, April 16, the 2011 U.S. National Team will make an appearance and unveil routines that will be performed at the FINA World Championships held in Shanhai, China in July. The exhibition will begin at 1:15 p.m. and will be included with the price of admission.

The McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion previously hosted the 2008 U.S. Collegiate National Championships but 2011 marks the first time the U.S. National Championships have landed at OSU.

Tickets for Thursday and Friday’s competition will be on sale for $10. Admission for finals on Saturday will be $15. Three-day event passes can be purchased for $25. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at tickets.experiencecolumbus.com.
