COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 2009 Big Ten Champion Ohio State men’s soccer team will hold open tryouts for all full-time Ohio State students at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 30 in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. All players should bring their own equipment and be prepared to train on both grass and turf, depending on the weather.

In order to participate in the tryout each player must present proof of recent physical examination, a copy of his 2009 Spring Quarter schedule and signed liability waiver and NCAA Drug Testing Consent forms. These forms are available by contacting the men’s soccer office.

Following the initial tryout March 30, some players may be asked to return for additional practice times at 8 a.m. March 31 and April 1 in the WHAC. Those selected during the tryout process will participate in daily training with the team during the months of April and May, from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday-Friday. This extended training period will be an opportunity to be selected for the fall 2010 team.
