COLUMBUS, Ohio– Members of the Ohio State track and field teams opened day one of competition at the Arkansas Invitational Friday, Jan. 26.in Fayetteville, Ark. Four Buckeyes were able to accomplish Top 5 finishes in their individual events.

In field events Ohio State’s Drew Carter captured a second-place finish in the men’s long Jump (7.59m). Brad Hart finished fifth in the high jump with a mark of (6′-10.75).Katy Craig (Jr., Hilliard, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) placed second in the weight throw with a mark of 19.32 meters while teammate Tami Smith (So., Galloway, Ohio/Westland) posted a fifth-place finish in the women’s high jump with a mark of (5′-09.7)

The Arkansas Invitational will conclude late Saturday evening Jan. 27
