Men’s basketball to face VMI Nov. 25 at former home
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s basketball team will conclude the Thanksgiving weekend at St. John Arena, where the Buckeyes played their home games for 42 seasons before moving to Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center for the 1998-99 campaign.
Tickets for the game against Virginia Military Institute (8 p.m./Big Ten Network) are on sale by calling 1-800-GO-BUCKS or online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com. Tickets are available for $25. Capacity is 13,276.
Ohio State has an overall record of 427-151 at St. John, which opened for the 1956-57 season. The Buckeyes played a single game at their former home during the 2004-05 season, an 84-67 victory vs. Chattanooga Nov. 27, 2004.
The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a set of Ohio State men’s basketball trading cards. John Casey’s Frisbee Dogs will perform at halftime.
