Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team will send 10 throwers to Findlay, Ohio, to compete in the Findlay Classic on Saturday at the Malcom Athletic Center.
Sophomore Sade Olatoye and junior Nick Demaline both rank inside the top 10 nationally in their respective events. Olatoye, who launched a school and personal record of 21.63m (70-11.75) in the weight throw at the Buckeye Classic, currently has the fourth-best mark in the nation; her season-best shot put mark of 15.66m (51-4.5) also ranks No. 6 in the Big Ten. Demaline, a transfer from Western Kentucky, ranks eighth in the NCAA in the shot put (18.78m/61-7.5) entering this weekend.
