Between the 2014 Ohio State Football Spring game on April 12th and July 25th, The Cronin Family Football Performance Suite came to fruition. The Suite includes the eye catching, state-of-the-art locker room, a therapy pool, a nutrition bar and a lounge. There are 125 metallic and black lockers, approximately 15 of which will be for Buckeyes currently playing in the NFL who wish to use the facility in the off season. The lounge area features multiple flat screen HD televisions and black leather couches. Of special eye appeal is the illuminated waterfall which separates the locker room from the training and therapy area.
“What a beautiful space,” said Mike Penner, Senior Associate Athletics Director. “We were able to transform the space, provide a “WOW” factor and improve the student-athlete experience for our football players. We couldn’t have done it without the Cronin family’s extreme generosity and the excellent work and cooperation demonstrated by the project team.”
