COLUMBUS, Ohio – Dominic Ozanne, a senior on the Ohio State men’s tennis team, lost in the consolation semifinals of the 2007 Big Ten Singles Championship Monday. The University of Michigan is serving as host at the Varsity Tennis Center in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Ozanne, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, fell to J.P. Ritchie of Iowa 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (4). Ozanne was awarded a place in the consolation semifinals after Eddie Bourchier of Penn State had to forfeit the quarterfinal match because of injury.

The Buckeyes do not compete again until Jan. 18 when they will take part in the 2008 USTA Futures Tournament in Boca Raton, Fla.
