What about Ohio State made you most attracted to the university when you decided to come here?
The athletic traditions.

What is your favorite thing about the city of Columbus?
The ease in getting around the city. Being from the east coast, I’m used to dealing with a lot of traffic and parking issues. Columbus has everything that most major cities have on the east coast, just on a smaller scale. I tend to take advantage of those things here, because it is easier to get to.

Other than lacrosse, what sports did you play growing up?
Field hockey and basketball.

Other than lacrosse, what is your favorite sport to watch?
Football.

Would you trade one of the two national championships you won as a player at Temple for one as a coach?
Both championships were too memorable to trade in. I certainly would love to have one as a coach too.

What one person had the biggest impact on the coaching style that you have today?
That would be both Tina Sloan-Greene and Sue Stahl, my college coaches.

When you first became the head coach here, did you envision yourself still being here in 2005?
Yes I did. I just cannot believe how quickly the ten years has passed.

What are your goals for next season?
To be in the top 20 for the 5th year in a row and to hopefully make it back to the NCAA Tournament.

What is your greatest memory as an athlete?
Winning the National Championship my senior year. That is the best way to end a career.

What is your greatest memory as a coach?
Beating Maryland at Maryland. They were coming off numerous consecutive National Championships. We snapped their 79 game winning streak against opponents outside of the ACC.
