COLUMBUS, Ohio Members of the Ohio State synchronized swimming team traveled to Keuka, N.Y., to compete in the Keuka Invitational Saturday. The Buckeye Gray team captured first place with 98 points. Keuka came in second with 90 points and Penn State finished third with 70.5 points.

The Gray squad of Kendra Sollars, Liz Derr, Jackie Mundy, Emilie Siemer, Lauren Robinson, Katherine Green, Hannah Shively and Rita Gillan finished first in the team routine with a score of 91.167. Torey Stachowicz, Asia Luke, Liana Litsky and Diana Care also performed in the team routine. The quad placed third with a mark of 84.333.

Green competed in the solo competition and garnered first place with a mark of 86.667.
Shively and Robinson took first in the duet, tallying a score of 86.500. In the trio event, Mundy, Derr and Monica Finnigan placed first with a mark of 83.333.

Up next, Ohio State will host the 2009 North Regional Championships at 2 p.m. March 7 at the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
