COLUMBUS, Ohio– Ohio State’s baseball game Sunday against Southwest Missouri State will has been moved up one hour and will now start at 10:30 a.m. (9:30 a.m., CST) instead of 11:30 a.m. The change was necessary to accommodate travel plans of other teams participating in the Tournament of Champions Cardinal Classic in Beaumont, Texas.

Ohio State, now ranked 22nd by the nation by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, opens the season Friday against host Lamar at 8 p.m. The Buckeyes will then meet Oklahoma at 2 p.m. Saturday and then play Southwest Missouri State at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. All three opponents participated in the 2002 NCAA Tournament.
