April 18, 2000
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The deadline to pickup and submit Ohio State student football ticket applications for the 2000 season is Saturday, April 29th. Any student currently enrolled, with spring quarter fees paid, that will be a full-time student in the Fall quarter is eligible to apply for tickets.
Students may pick up applications at the ticket office in the Southeast Rotunda of the Jerome Schottenstein Center with a valid Ohio State student ID. Each student is allowed to pick up only his or her own application. Completed applications can be mailed or returned to the same location through noon April 29th. The ticket office accepts cash, check, VISA and MasterCard as payment for the tickets.
For students, season tickets are $76 and include the four Big Ten games (Penn State, Sept. 23, Minnesota, Oct. 14, Michigan State, Nov. 4, Michigan, Nov. 18). Tickets to the option games that take place before fall quarter (Fresno State, Sept. 2, Miami (Ohio), Sept. 16) are $19 each and can be purchased in addition to the season ticket package. Married students have the option to purchase two student tickets as well as two tickets to each of the option games. A valid student identification card must be presented to pickup the tickets in the fall and married students must also show a valid marriage certificate.
In addition, if a student purchased season tickets and/or option game tickets for the 1999 season, he or she has the option of submitting this year’s application on-line at www.hangonsloopy.com. Keep in mind if you want to sit with a group of other students or if you had one ticket last year and are now married, your application has to be returned in person to the Ticket Office. Again this option is only available to students who ordered last year.
If a student is graduating in the spring or summer quarter but will be returning to Ohio State as a Graduate or Professional student in the fall, an application should be submitted during the Spring pre-sale. For more information, contact the ticket office at 292-2624.
