Student Life
Do you prefer Oval Beach in the Fall or Spring (or maybe the Winter)? I’ve only ever seen the Oval in the fall, so I guess I have to go with that!
Where is the best place to sit for lectures? Definitely the edges, they make for a clean getaway.
Most underrated place to study on campus – I usually go to Younkin or Thompson Library. I haven’t really explored anywhere else yet.
Why did you choose your major? I’ve always been interested in learning how the human body works and performs. I think it’s a really cool subject area. As an athlete, I’ve had my share of bumps and bruises and I’d like to be able to help other people.
If you were the University President for a day, what would you do? I would probably institute a mandatory nap time in everyone’s day.

Popular Culture
Favorite TV show – Lost
Favorite movie – The Sound of Music (it’s just too much of a classic)
Favorite book and/or magazine – The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Favorite singer or musical group – Linkin Park and Barenaked Ladies.
Last concert I attended was – I’ve actually never been to a concert. I guess I need to get out more!

Sports
Favorite pro sports team – Pittsburgh Steelers
Favorite athlete – Troy Polamalu
The athlete I would most like to compete against – Lebron James, in a mile race.
Favorite athletic memory – Winning the 3200 state championship in track my senior year of high school.
Team you’re most looking forward to competing against – All the Big Ten teams on November 2nd for the conference championship.
Pre-game/match superstition/Pre-game/match ritual – I always wear the same pair of socks for each race (washed of course).
What is your top skill? What skill do you need to improve? My top skill would have to be that I’m very motivated. If I set my mind to something, I’m going to do it. The skill I need to improve would be my attention to details. I usually rush through things too fast and make little mistakes along the way.

Travel
Most interesting place I’ve visited – New Mexico
Place I would like to visit – Maine. I’ve never been on that part of the East Coast.
Food Favorite home-cooked meal – Pizza. My mom makes a mean homemade pie.
Favorite snack food – I don’t always eat snacks, but when I do, I eat a granola bar.

Misc.
Person I most admire – It’s hard to pick just one. There have been a lot of people who have influenced me in my life.
In 10 years, I would like to be – Done with school!
If I had a million dollars, I would – Buy a house and car, and then save the rest for my future kids to go to college. I wouldn’t tell them I had the money saved just to mess with them. It would be a nice surprise.
Coolest thing you did this past summer – My family and I went hiking at Zaleski State Forest. It was a fun time.
Most prized possession – The hat I got from the Foot Locker championship in 2012.
I would like to trade places for a day with – A pet dog, because they have it made. You get free food, free belly rubs, and all you have to do is pant and wag your tail.
Best piece of advice you’ve received – The only way you’re going to be good at something is if you enjoy every moment of it. If not, then why do it?
If you could have dinner with any 3 people (alive or dead), who would they be and what/where would you eat – I would invite C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Christopher Paolini, the authors of my favorite books, and we would eat at Olive Garden for the never-ending pasta.
Dream event (non-sport or sport-related) you would like to attend – I’ve always wanted to watch the Olympics in person.
Who tweets too much on your team? Josh Sabo…I know you’re reading this.
What is your hometown known for? Maple syrup
Pop or Soda? Pop
Cats or Dogs? Dogs
Early Bird or Night Owl? Night Owl
