%^$STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Kevin Pall scored three goals to lead Stony Brook to a 7-6 win over Ohio State, Sunday at Seawolves Field. The Buckeyes fall to 4-6 on the season, while Stony Brook improves to 3-8.%^$

%^$Each team scored twice in the first quarter, but the Seawolves took control in the second stanza, scoring four unanswered goals. Pall scored all three of his goals in the second quarter as SB built a 6-2 lead at the half.%^$

%^$In the second half, the Buckeyes rallied behind Pat Meyers (Fr., Kennebunk, Maine/Kennebunk) who finished with four goals, scored twice in the third as OSU pulled within 6-5 heading into the final quarter.%^$

%^$After Jesse Foss extended the lead to 7-5 for Stony Brook, Meyers cut the lead to one with 6:08 remaining. With 1:59 left, Stony Brook goalie John Dobias was whistled for a slashing penalty and replaced by Tom Bushy. On the ensuing man-up opportunity, the Buckeyes were able to get off two good shot, but Bushy made a key save to preserve the win.%^$

%^$Buckeye goalkeeper Mike Abeles (Sr., Westfield, N.J./Westfield) went the distance and finished with 17 saves. Dobias played 59 minutes and made 13 stops. Bushy played only one minute and came up with one save.%^$

%^$The Buckeyes return to Columbus after a month on the road next weekend. At 4 p.m. Friday, they will host conference foe Denver. At 1 p.m. Sunday, the Buckeyes will face off against Air Force. Both games will be played at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.%^$
